Belmont Village Update

It has been five months since NeighborWorks Waco broke ground on our upcoming Belmont Village which will be a subdivision of 27 duplexes, for a total of 54 new rental homes. These homes will all feature a fenced yard, provided lawn maintenance, and a neighborhood green area.
Though our partnerships with the City of Waco, Pat Patterson, and Troy Glasson, we have made great progress on this subdivision! Though things are still under construction, progress is visible. A new sewer line has been installed and is now active, which has promoted the City of Waco to pursue various other improvement projects in that area.
NeighborWorks Waco’s involvement in this project is spurring others on in community development and revitalization efforts, and that is a fact of which we are proud. However, we are more excited to be bringing new affordable housing options to the Waco market. Belmont Village is not yet ready, but we have already had an outpouring of interest.
What is the process to apply for a rental there? or is homeownership of a unit?
