For years, NeighborWorks Waco identifies community leaders and funds leadership-development initiatives for those individuals. After participating in capacity-building and leadership trainings, this team of outstanding community members selects a project that they believe will benefit their community. With partnership from NeighborWorks Waco, the CLI group, or Community Leadership Institute, will strive to bring improvements to their community through their chosen project.

This year’s CLI team has been forced to be extra innovative in response to COVID-19 challenges. The following is a brief Q&A between NeighborWorks Waco’s Chris Qualls (CQ) and a leader of this year’s CLI team, Kay Bell (KB).
