Community

Through NeighborWorks® Week, Art on Elm Avenue, the Painting Pastor’s Challenge, and other outreach projects, the organization seeks to create outlets to mobilize volunteers, beautify neighborhoods, unite communities, and celebrate resident involvement.

Through its national network partnership, NeighborWorks® Waco also provides best-of practices and training to emerging and established leaders who are working in our local community. These activities challenge leaders to implement concrete plans for positive change, and NeighborWorks® Waco continues to support these leaders as projects progress.

Art on Elm Avenue

Art on Elm Avenue is a pop-up art exhibition and event featuring local fine art, music, food, and more!

Started in April 2010, Art on Elm Avenue began as an effort from NeighborWorks® Waco to help aid in developing our city’s urban areas and to celebrate the rich artistic culture thriving here in Waco.

Art on Elm Avenue has grown from a small community event to one of the most anticipated events of the Spring in Waco!
