For an impressive 41 years, this dedicated professional has worked at a title company, serving as the backbone of countless successful home closings. Her extensive experience in the real estate industry has equipped her with the expertise needed to ensure that every detail is meticulously managed, providing a seamless experience for those embarking on the exciting journey of homeownership.
In addition to her professional commitments, she passionately devotes her spare time to volunteering as an educator for first-time homebuyers. Recognizing that the path to homeownership can be daunting, she is determined to empower others with the knowledge they need to navigate their own experiences confidently.
Board Member of the Year Award – John Boggs

In 2023, this dedicated individual joined the board, bringing a fresh perspective and a strong commitment to the organization’s mission. Wilbert Austin Sr. Good Neighbor Award – Ruth Smith

Since 2016, this remarkable individual has been an active member of the Heart of Texas Homeless Coalition, where she plays a vital role in addressing homelessness in her community. As a representative of the faith community through Woodway Methodist Church, she embodies a spirit of compassion and service, working tirelessly to create positive change for those in need.
Her unwavering commitment to serving the homeless reflects her deep-rooted belief in the dignity and worth of every individual. Through her advocacy, outreach, and leadership, she continues to inspire others to join the fight against homelessness, making a lasting difference in the lives of those she serves. Her work not only uplifts individuals but also strengthens the entire community, fostering a spirit of collaboration and compassion that resonates far beyond her church walls.

Special Award – Delta Upsilon Zeta of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority

For three decades, this sorority has been at the forefront of the MLK Peace March, working diligently to ensure that it not only commemorates Dr. King’s contributions but also serves as a platform for dialogue about social justice, equality, and community empowerment.
They have cultivated a tradition that fosters community spirit and encourages individuals of all backgrounds to come together in solidarity, reflect on the past, celebrate progress, and recommit to the work that lies ahead.
