NeighborWorks Waco is pleased to welcome Alicia Sawyer to the team as our new Bookkeeper. Alicia brings a strong foundation in accounting, financial analysis, and auditing, along with a deep commitment to service and community.
She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Tarleton State University, where she developed a passion for numbers and a genuine appreciation for the role accurate financial management plays in helping individuals, families, and organizations thrive. Her expertise and attention to detail are matched by a desire to make a meaningful difference, which aligns closely with the mission of NeighborWorks Waco.
For Alicia, joining the team is both a professional milestone and a personal calling. She sees her work as a way to contribute to the financial health of an organization dedicated to building stronger, more resilient communities. Alicia looks forward to growing professionally and becoming a valued and trusted part of the NeighborWorks team.
Outside of the office, Alicia enjoys a full and active family life with her husband and their four children. Two of their children are now adults, and the younger two keep the family busy with school events, sports, and church activities. Their home also includes two cats and three dogs, adding even more energy and joy to their daily routine. Alicia’s commitment to family, faith, and perseverance grounds her both personally and professionally.
